Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for a high energy, positive attitude, team-minded ADC Attendant to join our team! The ADC Attendant maintains positive donor relations by greeting people donating merchandise, thanks and gives donor tax receipts. Maintains ADC according to agency policies, procedures and practices. Represents the agency to the public in a positive way by their actions and friendliness. Essential Duties and Tasks:

Opens ADC each day and keeps regular schedule. Secures ADC at end of each day. Greets donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner within 10 seconds; unloads donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts and maintain accurate daily counts of donations. Breaks down donations into categories. Maintains drive-through and ADC site in accordance with image standards. Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies in an efficient manner. Responsible to secure and appropriately use those supplies. Adheres to all Goodwill and personnel policies and procedures; follows good safety and security practices, including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the ADC manager. Notifies supervisor of any absences; be sure ADC is not left unattended. Notifies supervisor of any large items donated that cannot be stored in ADC for truck pickup. May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill. Attend in-service and related training as assigned by ADC Site Manager. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED, preferred. Model our agency values and serve as stewards of donations and the environment. Use courtesy and tact in dealing with people. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Demands:

This job may have physical requirements that are considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
