A very exciting new Acute Care Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator position has just opened up in a state of the art Medical Center centrally located in the Eastern Bay Area.

This trusted Hospital has been serving residents for over 60 years. The Clinical Coordinator will support this district hospital\xe2\x80\x99s pharmaceutical efforts. This Hospital specializes in a broad range of patient care such as trauma, cancer, stroke and rehabilitation. This highly awarded hospital has recently been awarded Patient Safety Excellence.

The Acute Care Clinical Coordinator will work in collaboration with the tenured Pharmacy Direction and other healthcare leaders. The Hospital Pharmacist will oversee exceptional PGY1 Pharmacy Residents and support in the creation of the Residency program.

The Acute Care Clinical Coordinator will be a leader within the pharmacy department and create policies and procedures to meet requirements and standards. Drug procurement, distribution, storage and administration will also be the Clinical Coordinator\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility. The Acute Care Coordinator will continue to monitor the patient\'s progress and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of the patient\'s medication. By working in collaboration with patient\xe2\x80\x99s physicians and other providers the team will create a care plan for individuals. Individuals with PGY1 pharmacy residency experience and pharmacy leadership background will surely make for a quick interview.
