We are ACU4U, Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine clinic opening a new location in Sugarland, TX. We are currently looking for a professional, courteous, and tech savy full-time Acupuncture Front Office Clerk to join our team. You will be the first and last point of contact for our patients, provide help to our practitioners during the patient's visit and play a key role in customer satisfaction while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and fast typing speed to handle email communications and data-entry. Training will be provided by the clinic.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Answer general questions regarding acupuncture, health, insurance, and billing.
Scheduling in new and existing patients during their visit or over the phone.
Assist clients in the completion of required paperwork.
Submit insurance coverage verifications online and by phone, and communicate insurance benefits and payment details to patients.
Collect payment and ensure all patient accounts and balances are current and accurate.
Manage clinic phone calls, faxes, and emails.
Manage daily clinic operations including cleaning treatment rooms in between patient visits and ensuring that inventory is properly stocked.
Assist in removing acupuncture needles after patient treatment is done.
Assist in preparing herbal formulas and prepping shipment of herbs by mail.
Assist in the submission of insurance claims.
Follow through with clinic opening and/or closing procedures.
Assist in the management of herbal pharmacy stock.
Participate in marketing opportunities to help the clinic build new patient counts.
Manage the flow of guests and members through the clinic in an organized manner.
Provide the highest levels of customer service, professionalism and decorum to all guests and members throughout their visit.
Be a team player and contribute to a positive, healthy workplace culture.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree or higher preferred)
Cheerful, positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
Able to work weekends/evenings (as required)
Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM
Familiarity with iOS and Windows OS
Proficient with email suites such as Gmail
Proficient with word processors such as Google Docs and Microsoft Office
Proficient with spreadsheet software such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
Maintain a professional appearance and wear company approved scrubs
Office management or marketing experience is a plus
Previous experience with acupuncture is a plus
Spanish speaking is a plus
Compensation
$15-$16/hour
