As a champion for resident engagement and well-being, you will spearhead our daily activities, events, and recreational programs, fostering a sense of community and social interaction among our residents.

Activity Director Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that caters to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents Plan and execute daily activities, including social events, outings, and entertainment programs Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure activities align with resident care plans and goals Recruit and supervise volunteers to assist with activity programming Maintain accurate records of activity participation and program evaluation Foster relationships with local community organizations to enhance programming and opportunities for residents Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our care philosophy

Activity Director Requirements:

Experience in a healthcare setting, but passion for creating engaging experiences for seniors Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with activity program planning and implementation Certification in activity direction or related field required
