Activities Assistant

to help create memorable experiences and enrich the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. If you're passionate about working with seniors and creating a fun, dynamic environment, we want you to join our team!

What You'll Do:

Assist with planning and leading daily activities

for our residents, including arts and crafts, music therapy, games, exercise classes, and group outings.

Engage with residents

to encourage participation in activities, ensuring that everyone feels involved and valued.

Assist in organizing special events

, such as holiday parties, birthday celebrations, themed social gatherings, and outings.

Provide one-on-one interaction

with residents, offering companionship and support during activities.

Maintain activity supplies and equipment

, ensuring everything is ready for each program. Collaborate with other staff members, including nurses, caregivers, and management, to ensure activities align with individual care plans and residents' preferences.

Monitor and document resident participation

and feedback, reporting any changes or needs to the team.

What We're Looking For:

A

genuine passion for working with seniors

and a desire to create positive, enriching experiences.

Previous experience in activity coordination

or a similar role (preferred, but not required). Excellent

communication and interpersonal skills

- you should be able to interact with residents in a friendly, empathetic, and patient manner. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and events. A

creative and enthusiastic spirit

- someone who is willing to think outside the box to make activities fun and meaningful. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate special events and resident needs.
