Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic

Activities Assistant

to help plan and implement a variety of recreational programs for our residents. The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults and has a creative, team-oriented spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, organizing, and executing daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet varying levels of ability and interest Escort residents to and from activities, as needed Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation Support the Activities Director in event planning and setup Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in recreation, gerontology, or a related field is a plus Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in enriching the lives of others * Must pass background checks and meet all state/facility requirements
