MVH - Scarborough is currently looking for an Activities Assistant. The Activities Assistant is responsible for providing meaningful activities to the residents and works collaboratively with the Activities Supervisor to maintain a steady flow of activities that are designed to meet the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents.


This is a full-time position.

Requirements:
Ability organize and direct small and large group activities Interest in activities and working with the geriatric population Must have flexibility to work some weekends and holidays Geriatric activities experience preferred CNA certification a plus Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license Requires proficiency in spoken and written English. Ability to understand and respond to residents' needs and inquiries in English is required. Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required. Basic computer skills
