JOB SUMMARY for Activities Assistant:

We're seeking caring, professional, and dependable activity associates to perform daily planned activities with our residents. Seeking a motivated individual who is creative, musically talented, and able to develop planned engaging activities. This position will be under the supervision of the Activity Supervisor.

Some of the Responsibilities of the Activities Assistant include:

Assists the Activity Director in all apsects of the activities program Implement the current activities schedule as directed Assist bed bound residents with one-to-one activities Provide facility craft supplies, materials, etc., to residents and assist with activities Ensure that necessary forms, reports and progress notes are properly completed and contain informative description of the services provided and the residents' responses to the services as assigned Assist in identifying and monitoring the spiritual, social, recreational and emotional needs of the residents through routine interviews and visits with the residents

Requirements of the Activities Assistant:

Warm and Caring Personality Team Player CNA preferred

Part time; Two Weekdays + every other weekend (flexible schedule)
