Activities Assistant

MONDAY-FRIDAY 8 AM- 4:30 PM

We are currently accepting applications for an Activities Assistant within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

Requirements:

Ability to walk, bend, lift, and use fine hand coordination. Read and write in English. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Remain calm under stress. Must pass background and drug screen Activities experience preferred

Job Functions:

Help residents get to and from activities. Encourage participation in programs. Assist with outings and in-room activities. Create bulletin boards and decorations. Complete necessary documentation. Monitor residents' needs and report changes. Maintain resident confidentiality and respect. Report any safety concerns.
