The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
Some job duties will include: assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this facility.
You are key in making our patients feel at-home and providing high-quality care. We truly value our Activities Assistants at Citadel Senior Living.
Preferred Qualifications, but Willing to Train the Right Person:
Experience in long-term care and home & community care settings Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and families Knowledge of care plans and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care, as well as recreational therapy Event planning skills to organize engaging activities for seniors Background in caregiving and working with individuals with disabilities
Pay: From $15.15 per hour
Work Location: In person
