Apple Tree Assisted Living is a warm, resident-centered community dedicated to helping our seniors live active, fulfilling lives. We are looking for a friendly, upbeat Activities Assistant to join our team and help bring joy, engagement, and wellness to our residents.

Position Summary

The Activities Assistant supports the planning and delivery of daily activities, outings, and programs that promote physical, social, and emotional well-being. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with planning, coordinating, and leading group activities, crafts, games, and wellness programs Encourage resident participation with a positive, bubbly, and motivating attitude Drive the community's 15-passenger bus for outings and scheduled activities Help set up and clean up activity areas Support residents with mobility or cognitive needs during activities Maintain attendance logs and assist with documentation as needed Contribute ideas for improving activities and engagement

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable and willing to drive a 15-passenger bus (training provided if needed) Energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality Ability to motivate and encourage participation from residents Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team Previous experience in activities, recreation, CNA work, or caregiving is a plus but not required

Schedule

Part-time (hours discussed during interview) Some weekends or evenings may be required depending on activity schedules
