$17/hour

Schedule:

Day shift, weekdays, and every other weekend.


River Bend Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and energetic

Activities Assistant

to support the emotional, recreational, and social needs of our residents under the guidance of the Director of Activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily activities that promote entertainment, communication, relaxation, and creativity, meeting residents' psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Assist residents with everyday tasks such as writing letters, making phone calls, or registering to vote. Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and activity participation. Support residents with mail delivery, escorting to activities, plant and pet care, newsletter preparation, and morning announcements. Provide craft supplies and supervise creative activities, encouraging residents to explore their potential.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in long-term care or working with elderly or disabled individuals is highly desirable. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
