CHI Health has an immediate opportunity for a Medical Assistant. We are currently offering additional benefits for our Medical Assistants ,LPN or RN

Our Medical Assistants, LPN or RN are part of our healthcare team who treats patients with a variety of illnesses. You can expect to collaborate on comprehensive screenings, risk assessments, and preventative health education for patients.

Responsibilities

In healthcare, we all agree that support is a must in order to be successful. This position will support our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need in order to care for our patients. They also play a huge role in a patient\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s experience and prep when they visit any of our clinics. We couldn\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99t do it without you! Expectations:

• Record patient\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Obtain medical information and take vitals
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for the physician/nurse
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of medical assisting program, LPN or RN program
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• High school diploma or equivalent
