Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and detailed Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a well-known commercial property management company in Las Vegas. In this role, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full cycle accounts receivable functions, collections, managing tenant communication including tenant notices, letters, and resolving any discrepancies that arise. The candidate must have prior experience with multiple entities, comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable and prior ERP system experience. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist include:

• Handle the end-to-end accounts receivable process for our commercial property management portfolio.
• Perform timely and accurate invoicing of tenants, ensuring adherence to lease terms and rental schedules.
• Proactively monitor and manage outstanding balances, actively pursuing collections to minimize delinquencies.
• Issue tenant notices, letters, and reminders regarding overdue payments, lease violations, and other relevant matters.
• Coordinate with property managers and leasing teams to resolve tenant disputes and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly aging reports, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve cash flow.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant records, including contact information, payment history, and lease details in the Yardi software system.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the accounting and finance team, to ensure proper recording and reporting of accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and supporting documentation for audits or reviews.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to accounts receivable management.

Requirements

2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience, pivot table experience is highly preferred..

Prior Yardi Software & Real Estate experience is desirable.
