Education and Experience

Bachelors Degree or equivalent (GED) required. Understanding of basic finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles. Certification in Accounts Receivable

or

a minimum of

2 years' experience

in Accounts Receivable.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to reconcile payments and customer accounts accurately. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain positive relationships with members/customers. Experience managing Accounts Receivable aging and collection of delinquent accounts. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information. Compliance with all federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements. Experience with

Jonas software

or

country club accounting systems

preferred.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Import and audit POS (Point of Sale) retail transactions for accuracy before posting to member accounts. Reconcile cash and credit card receipts; post payments to member accounts. Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records, ensuring all aging, credits, collections, and adjustments are up to date. Perform daily cash management tasks, including recording bank deposits and updating cash forecasts. Monitor and collect past due accounts per Club bylaws and policies. Prepare and distribute monthly member statements (via email or mail). Respond promptly to member inquiries or disputes regarding their accounts. Prepare and maintain member Certificates (Bonds) in Jonas for new members. Reconcile end-of-month spreadsheets, including initiation fees, dues, cash, and assessments. Collaborate with the Membership Director during new member onboarding. Make bank deposits of received cash as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Controller.

Valid Drivers License for bank deposits

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
