This position is 100% onsite and not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our finance team. This role focuses primarily on daily AR activities, customer payment processing, and financial customer service. The position also participates in a shared rotation for handling incoming calls, though this is a secondary responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Process daily customer payments, including depositing checks, running credit card transactions, and applying cash in our ERP system

Monitor and maintain the accounting department's general email inbox

Manage customer account setup, credit terms, and account hold/release processes

Handle customer service inquiries related to billing, payments, and account status

Assist with receivable collections through follow-up emails and phone calls

Participate in a rotating schedule for incoming calls (typically one day per week)

Support additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in accounts receivable, customer service, or administrative support preferred (but not required)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently

Comfortable with basic computer applications; experience with ERP systems a plus

Hourly pay: $15-$20, based on experience and qualifications
