Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of clerical/administrative activities supporting company-wide disbursement processing.

Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Technician position involves multiple dimensions and responsibilities including:

Invoice Identification Routing invoices to the correct Simplot Approver & Location Researching Invoice and Vendor history and payment methods Matching and processing purchase orders to the correct receipts for payment

Typical Education

High school diploma/GED required Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred

Relevant Experience

3+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information

Possess a thorough understanding of assigned accounting related functions (i.e. A/P, A/R) SAP experience preferred Able to operate general business machines such as computer, and similar office equipment efficientlyand accurately Perform routine mathematical calculations Able to accurately complete high volume of work within specified time frames Must be punctual and have regular attendance Works a hybrid schedule 4:1 (4 days in office, 1 day remote per week)
