Well established, rapidly expanding company conducting wholesale and retail convenience store activities seeks accounts payable specialist to expand our Accounts Payable department.

The

Accounts Payable Specialist

is responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices for both retail and wholesale operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring that payments are completed accurately and on time while maintaining positive vendor relationships and supporting financial accuracy across multiple entities.

Duties Include:

Process and accurately enter vendor invoices across multiple business units Manage and process all utility and tax payments for store and office locations, ensuring timely submission to avoid service interruptions Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly Prepare weekly check and EFT runs; ensure proper documentation and approvals Maintain accurate and organized AP files (digital and/or paper) Communicate with vendors and store managers to address invoice or payment questions Support continuous improvement initiatives in AP processes and system automation Collaborate with accounting team members on cross-functional projects

Qualifications:

2+ years of accounts payable experience Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage high transaction volumes and meet deadlines
