Are you detail-oriented and skilled in managing accounting processes from start to finish? We are seeking an experienced

Accounting Specialist

to join our team and support company-wide accounting operations. This role is responsible for handling the full cycle of accounts payable, reconciling accounts, assisting with collections, and providing cross-departmental accounting support. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Starting Pay:

$26.00 - $28.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

Review and process purchase orders and vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness. Perform daily bank reconciliations and process deposits. Manage vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and provide responsive support to internal teams and external partners. Review vendor statements and open payables regularly to ensure accuracy. Issue purchase orders as needed and coordinate with Purchasing to confirm receipt. Process employee payroll deductions for tool purchases or repairs. Contact customers and technicians regarding outstanding balances. Assist departments across the company with accounting-related inquiries. Support the Accounting Manager with special projects and additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
