Responsible for maintaining information related to Accounts Receivable, Broker Commissions and Daily Deposits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all A/R duties related to Broker Commissions for Commercial HMO, CCLH and Medicare including checking the calculations, updating Great Plains and the Access database, and mailing commissions and statements.
Act as backup for Commercial deposits; to include research and posting in all systems.
Creates and maintains Great Plains Commercial Sales Customer Cards with billing information on new or termed groups.
Assists in mailing out monthly premium invoices.
Special projects and other duties as directed.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
Proficiency in 10- Key. 10- Key Minimum testing requirements: 9.000 kph.
Proficiency in Excel. Excel minimum testing requirements: 80% Overall.
Proficiency in Word. Word minimum testing requirements: 70% Overall.
Proficient in oral and written communication, ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to converse and write fluently in English.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree OR high school diploma with 3 years
Previous work experience in Accounting.
