Accounting Technology Advisor
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Base Salary: $70,000
We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Accounting Technology Advisor to join our team. This role is perfect for professionals with 2-5 years of accounting experience who are excited about leveraging technology to improve financial processes. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, managing incoming inquiries and delivering impactful product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Conduct live product demonstrations that highlight how our accounting technology addresses client needs.
- Assess client requirements and recommend tailored solutions using our platform.
- Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and their application within software systems.
- Provide actionable feedback to the product team based on client interactions.
- 2-5 years of accounting experience (public or corporate accounting preferred).
- Solid understanding of financial statements, general ledger, and accounting workflows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.) is a plus.
