Staff Accountant
Salary Range: $75-82,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Windsor, CO
Position Type: Direct Hire

How you'll spend your time as a Staff Accountant:

• Manage payables process, including credit card reconciliations and 1099 filings.
• File monthly sales tax reports in multiple jurisdictions.
• Serve as backup for weekly payroll processing and assist with Certified jobs and weekly filings.
• File taxes for jobs in Wyoming and all paperwork required from Wyoming to finalize jobs with the state.
• Assist with creating procedures for all areas of the accounting department: AR, job cost, inventory, HR, and AP.
• Collaborate with project managers to manage accurate job cost tracking.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for month-end and year-end.
• Audit support and internal control management.
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with financial analysis.
• Construction accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
• Proactive with the ability to take initiative.
• Adaptable team player, willing to jump in and help out wherever needed.
