RESPONSIBILITIES


Oversee the staff in Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

As a working supervisor, performs tasks, as required, to keep each area of responsibility current as to workflow

Prepare account analysis for month end - accounts payable and unvouchered invoices, accounts receivable, credit, etc.

Interfaces with finance management to assure proper coding of accounting transactions

Assist with month, quarter and year end close as directed by finance management

Compile and prepare information for external accountants and internal accounting staff

Assist with developing and maintaining Policy and Procedure documentation

Special Project assignments and ad hoc reports

Other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as requested

Oversee departmental cross training initiatives to maintain stability within the department

And other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Knowledge of requirements of processing transactions in A/P, A/R, and other routine accounting functions

Ability to work independently and willing to take on responsibilities and challenges

Superior coordination and supervision skills

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can maintain composure in difficult situations and be helpful and understanding

Skilled at working with customers and vendors to solve problems and resolve issues promptly

Ability to multi-task

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong work ethic; hard working, proactive self-starter

Must be detailed oriented and thorough in completing tasks

Experience with ERP software and proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel

Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Regular and timely attendance


EXPERIENCE


5 years' experience in processing A/P, A/R, and other office accounting tasks

Supervisory experience in a fast-paced office environment


EDUCATION


High School Diploma Required.

* Associates degree or higher in Accounting is preferred
