Role Overview

We're looking for a self-motivated and analytical Accounting Specialist who's eager to grow professionally within a dynamic construction environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys working with financial data, and understands the unique demands of construction accounting. Beyond core accounting responsibilities, we offer the opportunity to expand into Pre-Construction Operations, providing a pathway to become a well-rounded construction professional with cross-functional expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and Month End Close

Lead AR collection efforts and optimize cash flow strategies

Collaborate with Project Manager(s) to track billing and retention

Analyze financial trends and performance to support strategic decisions

Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance

Implement and improve accounting and pre-construction workflows

Prepare pre-qualification and submittal documentation for awarded projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (preferred)

3+ years of accounting or finance experience (preferred)

Strong analytical mindset with a passion for self-driven problem solving

Proficiency in Viewpoint (or other accounting software) and Microsoft Excel

Independent, proactive, and highly organized
