Scope of Responsibility:

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions in the Accounting Department. They will support accounts payable by processing invoices.

Essential Duties:

Processes accounts payable invoices by matching PO, invoice and receipt to verify correct quantity and cost. Maintains accounting records. Communicates with inventory and purchasing to correct discrepancies. Runs reports to verify entry. Maintains procedures and workflow. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree in Accounting is preferred


Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience preferred


Skills & Abilities:


Proficient in Computer Applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills. Regular and on-time attendance. Work in your shift as scheduled. Must work well with others.

Physical Requirements:

Position is in an office environment and will require working on a computer most of the day Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or grasp, reach with hands and arms Frequently required to talk and hear Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
