Are you an accounting professional looking to join a vibrant team in Plano, TX? ARK Hospitality is seeking an Accounting Manager to be part of our dynamic accounting department. With a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $85,000 per year, this position offers the opportunity to grow your career in the hospitality industry.
As an Accounting Manager at ARK Hospitality, you will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, producing monthly financial statements, and supporting budgeting processes. Responsibilities:

• Analyze all statements, balance sheets, income, and expense accounts to guarantee accuracy and recommend adjustments that would increase profitability
• Manage all phases of accounts payable invoicing, as well as manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable
• Review the daily revenue activity list to ensure accountability, reconcile general ledger accounts, review any account discrepancies, and make corrections
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial packages to owners

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Excellent math skills, relationship skills, communication skills, and customer service skills are crucial
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of previous work in hospitality, preferably in a full-service hotel
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software, which M3 would be a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
