ROLE SUMMARY

The accounting manager for FLUENT Cannabis Care will be responsible for managing the company\'s accounting operations, which will include reconciling accounts, reviewing account reconciliations, and verifying financial transactions. This individual must have excellent analytical skills and extensive knowledge of accounting principles to perform accounting duties that would minimize the company\'s financial risk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for significant and complex accounts and accounting transactions.

Review monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with IFRS.

Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.

Responding to information requests and communicating with external auditors.

Assist with the review and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes for multiple entities.

Ensures accuracy of payroll transactions and payroll tax filings.

Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

Proficient QuickBooks experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Certified Public Accountant designation is a plus.
