Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the financial heartbeat of a growing manufacturing organization? We're seeking a proactive Accounting Manager who thrives on oversight, analysis, and driving operational excellence. In this role, you'll direct critical accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and actionable financial insights across multiple business units.
What You'll Do:
As our client's Accounting Manager, you will be the go-to leader for accounting operations, guiding a high-performing team and supporting key financial processes:
Leadership & Team Oversight: Lead Credit & Collections and Accounts Payable functions, managing two direct reports and supervising the Senior Accountant with guidance, mentorship, and performance support.
Financial Close & Reporting: Coordinate month-end close activities and prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for internal and parent organization review.
Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Assist in preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, providing insights that inform business decisions.
Revenue & Cost Oversight: Manage Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) revenue processes, cost variance reviews, and labor and inventory accounting activities.
Analytical Excellence: Perform account analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leadership to compile and submit monthly and quarterly reporting packages to the parent company.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year institution (MBA or CPA preferred).
3-5 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and processes effectively.
