Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Accounting Coordinator

with a strong background in the food & beverage industry in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate must be fully knowledgeable in all accounting processes specific to restaurant operations, including:

Tip reporting and reconciliation (cash tips, credit card tips, tip pool, tip share, service charges, etc.). Daily cash reconciliation and audit of cash drawers. Payroll processes involving wage + tip structures in compliance with Puerto Rico labor regulations. Applicable tax and regulatory reporting for the restaurant industry. Experience with POS systems and inventory management platforms. Bank reconciliations and preparation of basic financial statements.

Requirements:

Preferably 5 years of experience

in a similar role within the restaurant industry in Puerto Rico. Strong knowledge of tip payment processes and related compliance requirements. Solid understanding of general accounting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (including multi-unit operations, if applicable).
Pay: $12.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
