Accounts Receivable Clerk

to support the daily operations of our distribution center.


Responsibilities:




Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices Answers multi-lined telephone regarding availability, pricing and order inquires Inbound/Outbound calling



Qualifications/Skills:




Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with team-members and customers Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs High school diploma or equivalent Be at least 18 years old
