The accounting clerk is responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying product and invoices as well as tracking and updating purchase orders. This role is the dedicated contact for vendor invoicing and payment inquiries and will support the finance team at both the Hyatt Centric Atlanta Buckhead and the Hyatt Centric Atlanta Midtown, reporting to the Director of Finance.
Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited:
Processing checks
Maintaining uninvoiced report
Maintain and clean items of on hold report
Receiving and processing hotel orders
Daily review of food and beverage cost
Daily Review of Labor Cost
Journal entries
Assisting with month end closing process

Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment*
Refined verbal and written communication skills*
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge*
Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented and organized*
Prefer two years Hotel or Accounting experience*
Previous experience with Hotel & Accounting systems (such as Evention, Birchstreet, Opera, Infrasys, Oracle) preferred*
Ability to work a flexible schedule (weekends, nights, and holidays)*
