We are a small, family owned business seeking a highly organized and adaptable accounting assistant to support day to day operations. This individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from general office duties to accounts receivable to creatively solving unique business challenges. This is a hands-on multifunctional role ideal for someone who enjoys a variety, problem solving and contributing to a close knit team.
Duties
Maintain accurate records and assist with basic bookkeeping or reporting tasks
Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments in a professional manner
Utilize Microsoft Office, NETSUITE, for various administrative tasks such as calendar management and bookkeeping
Provide customer support through effective communication and problem-solving
Maintaining accounts receivable, credit card processing, deposits and applying payments and product return processing
Ensure a welcoming environment at the front desk by maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service standards
Take initiative in addressing unique or unexpected challenges
Qualifications
Associates degree or higher in accounting or related field
2+ years related work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of NetSuite or bookkeeping experience is preferred
Take initiative in addressing unique or unexpected challenges that arise in daily operations
Comfortable working in team oriented small business environment
Pay: $62,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
