Responsibilities:
Ensure the integrity of Oracle financials and that internal/external reporting meets the needs of the business as well as generally accepted accounting principles. Ensure monthly close process is completed timely and accurately. Maintain the accuracy of the detail in the general ledger and inflows from subsystems. Provide financial and accounting support for ongoing Oracle developments and process initiatives. Provide ongoing business analysis of operations for assigned area of responsibility.Responsible for the general ledger system to assure accuracy and compliance with general accounting policies and procedures.
Perform the role of Oracle Super User for Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Projects and related modules to assure consistent and proficient operation of Oracle applications.
Assist with the annual budget process to assure that assigned departments follow the established budget guidelines.
Participate in and coordinate the preparation of the external audit work papers.
