Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Tax Preparer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and tax preparation, with a keen understanding of financial concepts and regulations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks , as well as excellent analytical and customer service skills. The Accountant/Tax Preparer will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and providing financial advice to clients.

Responsibilities

Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Conduct thorough analyses of financial data to ensure compliance with regulations Provide clients with insights on financial sales strategies and corporate accounting practices Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable Offer exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing timely responses Collaborate with team members to develop marketing strategies for financial services Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to provide informed advice

Experience

Proven experience in accounting or tax preparation is preferred Strong knowledge of financial concepts, technical accounting, and analysis skills Familiarity with various accounting software applications is essential Experience in bookkeeping is a plus
