Accountant/Bookkeeper - Advertising Agency (Lakewood)

We are a fast-paced advertising agency in Lakewood seeking an experienced

Accountant/ Bookkeeper

, with a focus on

Accounts Payable

.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage high-volume AP/AR, ACH payments, and bank reconciliations

Prepare monthly billing and journal entries

Collaborate with media team on client billing

File monthly/quarterly sales and use tax

Support month-end close and handle special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (degree preferred, not required)

Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Dynamics, SAP, or Sage)

Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles

A/P experience including check and credit card processing

Skilled in account reconciliations and remote deposits

Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable

Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills; team player with a strong work ethic

Sales/use tax filing experience preferred

Compensation:

$65,000-$75,000/year, depending on experience, with a full benefits package.
This is an in-office role; relocation is not offered.
