Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial reporting, customer service, and accounting software, with the ability to manage multiple financial functions accurately. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting both corporate and customer service functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards as well as accuracy in billing customers.

Duties

Maintain and oversee customer pricing Prepare and interpret reports, and summaries for management review Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of transactions Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP Business One, and other financial tools to streamline operations Provide mentorship to junior staff in accounting procedures and best practices Maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions for transparency to maintain an accurate history for future referral. Enter customer orders Review transactions entered by salespeople

Qualifications

Proven experience in corporate accounting Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, SAP Business One, and Microsoft Excel Experience with researching and correcting errors Ability to review and explain proper procedures Excellent analytical skills combined with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly to management or to other employees Excellent customer service skills are required Accounting classes or accounting/bookkeeping experience is mandatory.
