to oversee and manage all trust accounting operations in compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of client trust accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting for the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Manage client trust accounts in accordance with state bar regulations and firm policies
Record and monitor all trust transactions, including deposits, disbursements, wires, and transfers
Prepare and distribute trust balance reports for attorneys and clients
Perform and review monthly trust account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Partner with attorneys and staff to ensure proper handling of client funds
Support audits and regulatory reviews related to trust accounting
Maintain compliance with IOLTA (Interest on Lawyer Trust Accounts) requirements
Generate financial and compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders
Assist with general accounting duties as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of trust accounting experience
, preferably in a law firm environment
Proficiency with legal accounting software
(Elite, Aderant, or similar)
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
$90,000 - $100,000 per year
