General Description

Ensures accurate financial data by recording, verifying, and consolidating transactions, while supporting informed decision-making and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze general ledger account reconciliations. Prepare journal entries. Identify, document, and present solutions for pending transactions. Support business units in their accounting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Prepare monthly general ledger account variances. Assist in monthly closings. Collaborate in the documentation process required for audits. Participate in accounting-related projects as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree completed or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. Expertise in general ledger accounting. Understanding of the complete accounting cycle, including financial reporting and subsidiary analysis. Analytical ability to evaluate and interpret financial data. Ability to apply accounting knowledge to operational and financial process analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Proficiency in accounting software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP, and FIS. Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Adaptability to change and ability to perform under pressure. Team-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving results.
