Position Title: Accountant Sub-Function: Finance Location: East Coast / Remote Reports to: Accounting Manager Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $80,000/yr Other: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off The accountant position will have the following responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Trade Promotion and Sales Marketing spend

• Oversee trade promotion/sales marketing programs
• Help maintain trade promotion/sales marketing program list
• Work with Customers and Sales Team to obtain backup and calculate trade promotion/sales marketing credits due to customer
• Issue customer trade promotion, sample and damage credits
• Calculate month-end trade promotion/sales marketing accrual
• Generate and record the monthly samples and vaporizer promotion reclass
• Review/reconcile and distribute the monthly trade accrual file

\xc2\xb7 Customer Ordering Portal

• Create new items on the portal as needed based on product information from Operations and Marketing
• Maintain/update the ordering portals to ensure customer contact information, pricing, promotions, payment terms, etc. are accurate
• Identify and help collect past due customer account receivable balances
• Recommend customers to be placed on shipment hold due to late or non-payment of invoices
• Assist with recording inventory transactions and cash applications for consignment sales

\xc2\xb7 Inventory

• Work closely with Ops team on all these tasks
• Create new items and BOMs in BC
• Record inventory transfers between warehouses, entities and items
• Record CBD, kitting and terpene production in BC
• Reconcile inventory at all warehouses monthly
• Calculate and record SLOB reserve
• Develop and maintain product standard cost in BC

\xc2\xb7 Journal entries/account analysis

• Generate journal entries and enter in BC including prepaids, accrued other, accrued interest, deferred rent, fixed assets, T&E, etc.
• Perform GL account analysis for prepaids, accrued other, accrued interest, etc.
• Generate report to confirm selling price on sales invoicing is correct
• Perform intercompany reconciliation monthly
• Perform unbilled payables reconciliation quarterly
• Generate month end AP and AR aging statement for financial statements

\xc2\xb7 Assist with Weekly Cash Forecast with the goal of taking it over in the future \xc2\xb7 Merchandising/POS Catalog

• Update and maintain the Airo Brands Merchandising/POS Catalog
• Help identify customers to receive POS merchandise credits
• Track merchandise credits given and used by customers

\xc2\xb7 Retail Pricing Analysis

• Update market specific quarterly Retail Pricing analysis
• Adhoc projects/requests

Expectations and qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting preferred
• Ideally 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Finance in a corporate setting
• Very detailed oriented
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision
• Possesses good communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and focus under pressure
• Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity
• Ability to innovate and implement change successfully
• Solid computer skills
