Development, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more accounting systems. Responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis in accordance with GAAP, IFRS and DT policies and procedures. Support business processes and make recommendations in order to improve and support business systems and activities. Understand the transactional flow through the various systems to monitor and ensure accurate financial results. Solid understanding of ERP system including sub-modules.



May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report financial transactions. Generate ad-hoc reports for internal and/or external use. Interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. Will be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS, GAAP and other accounting regulations. Supports the quarterly and annual financial audits as well as the SOX control program.

Job Responsibilities

:

Record journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts and identify opportunities for improvement to processes or format. Learns business drivers and their effect on financial results. Ensure accounting records, monthly accounting close activities, and variance analyses are adequately and properly prepared, maintained and explained in a timely manner. Ability to manipulate and manage large volumes of transactional level data. Use accounting concepts, experience, analytical skills and knowledge of industry to resolve issues in creative and effective ways and ensure that appropriate judgment is applied. Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education and Work Experience

:

Bachelor's Degree Accounting (Required) 2+ years Accounting (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

:

Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Consults with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience. Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.

Licenses and Certifications

:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $62,400 - $112,600
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.


At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
