Job Description

StaffHigher Recruiting Services is searching for an Accountant for a fast growing construction company in Omaha, NE. This company offers a team oriented culture and fun loving, family environment with great benefits, including 401k match and HSA contributions. Duties include, but not limited to:

• Enter and record day to day accounts payable/receivable using QuickBooks
• Record and reconcile customer receivables transactions
• Perform bank account and credit card reconciliations
• Answer incoming calls and route to proper contact
• Assist customers with purchasing materials, including creating invoices and credit card payments
• Reconcile revenue and expense accounts monthly
• Other duties/special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with QuickBooks, business accounting, and balancing books
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Drive and ambition for career growth
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily duties
• Strong time management skills
• Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the construction industry a plus!

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits:
