Job Description

Grand Rail Development is looking for an accountant to join our team. We are looking to find a career-oriented accountant. The best person for this job would be best described as a "general accountant" that has a well-rounded accounting background and an overall solid working knowledge of accounting and finance matters. Applicant must be proficient in Quick Books and preferably (but not required) have knowledge in the construction and real estate industry.

Basic Job Duties to include:

Month-End and Quarterly-End processes, General ledger analysis and analytical review of financial statements and detail of accounts, A/R & A/P, Run reports as needed, Assist with special projects as required, Preparation and filing of state income tax returns and tax analysis, weekly payroll.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $41.00 per hour
