What do we need

We are looking for an Accountant to support a wide variety of functions for North American business operations which include monthly close activities, financial analysis, financial reporting, and assist with the implementation of financial processes. As an Accountant, you'll have advanced accounting knowledge and a strong grasp of accounting policies and procedures. You will serve as a key resource ensuring that financial records are complete, accurate and comply with US GAAP, Company policies, and the needs of management and investors.



The Accountant will report directly to the Sr. Accounting Manager. This is a hybrid position located in Plano, TX.

In this role you will get to:

Perform Revenue Recognition in accordance with ASC-606 Identify, amortize, and reconcile Prepaid Expenses Calculate and reconcile general expense Accruals Track multi-tranche Debt movement including amortization of Interest and Debt Financing Costs Identify and book intercompany transactions Perform monthly analytics over the P&L and Balance sheet and identify any potential corrections Maintain Goodwill and Intangible Asset schedules and book monthly amortization Maintain Fixed Assets schedule and book monthly depreciation Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations, follow up accordingly on any unusual balances and provide meaningful analysis and documentation Coordinate with AP/AR on expense coding and month end close responsibilities Assist with implementation of system improvements and production of quarterly reporting for management and lenders Assist with the recording and reconciliation of lease adjusting entries Provide assistance with annual audit requests Work collaboratively internally and across departments to drive efficiencies Produce deliverables which require little revision and supervision Lead complex tasks and projects utilizing finance/ accounting concepts Perform various other tasks and projects as needed

We are looking for

people with 3+ years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, ideally with a combination of Public Accounting (preferred) and SaaS industry experience.

The key skills we are looking for are:

Strong work-ethic, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills Excellent time management and problem solving skills Attention to detail and analytical skills Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office ERP experience - NetSuite preferred Ability to distill complex subject matter into curated executive summaries

You may also have experience in:

ASC 606 experience a plus Experience with cloud platforms (Navan, etc.) a plus Experience with Netclose Experience with M&A and Purchase Price Accounting

Total Rewards

Dotmatics utilises a national market-based approach to base pay benchmarking and pay band development. The candidate's final starting pay is based on job-related skills, experience, job specific qualifications & location. In addition to base salary, Dotmatics has implemented a total rewards strategy, which is the combination of compensation, benefits and recognition.

This is the range that we, in good faith, believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.


Starting Base Pay Range


$59,816 - $70,372 USD
