Job Description

We are seeking an Accountant to assist our finance team with daily operations.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for performing activities within the finance department to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial information. This position will report to the Vice President & Controller of Finance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
• Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
• Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
• Assist in year-end audit requests; participate in quarterly and annual audits
• Maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
• Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
• Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance
• 2-3 years of experience
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with finance and accounting software

• Must be able to manage competing demands and effectively prioritize work based on business needs and deadlines
• Strong understanding of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)-
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with aptitude to learn new systems
