Job Description

Job Responsibilities:


Identify and set up IT prepaids


Specifying criteria for setting up prepaid invoices with amortization schedules, including costs and service period thresholds


Reviewing and approving prepaid invoices in WorkDay:


o Confirming invoice lines in WD that are tagged with a spend category that is potentially a prepaid, like a subscription, license, maintenance


o Supporting matching the actual invoice and confirming the period in which the service will cover.


o Set an invoice up as a prepaid and create an amortization schedule


o Check prepaid box on the invoice line


o Put in the term in the memo, and make sure "schedule" is selected as the prepaid amortization type in the prepaid details tab in WD


Audit all the new prepaids for each company and make sure they are hitting the correct ledger and set up with the correct amortization schedule.


Create and maintain standard operating procedures.





Other Tasks:


Maintain accuracy of IT financial data through properly recording journal entries, preparing monthly reconciliations and other month end close activities.


Assist with Fixed Asset items such as PPE roll forward, FA reconciliation, recording FA acquisition, disposal entries..., IT Accounting certifications, other IT project accounting tasks, and booking accruals for operational spending


Develop collaborative relationships with IT P2P, IT finance to aid in efficient and proactive problem solving.


Research, analyze, develop, and implement new strategies, programs, and/or processes





Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related area


Strong PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Workday system preferred


Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills


Previous experience with prepaids or prepaid accounting guidance preferred


Proven interpersonal, communication and organizational skills


Strong problem-solving skills, working across organizations to drive improvements and work through roadblocks.


Proven business partnering skills, crisp and concise communication to a variety of levels.


Demonstrated abilities to oversee and handle multiple projects, competing priorities and deliverables including project management.


Ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and cultures.
