The Accountant I supports the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. This position will assist with general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable activities, and month-end close. Experience with NetSuiteis required to support system transactions, reporting, and data integrity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, and cash posting
+ Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in NetSuite
+ Work with customers to track and resolve outstanding balances
+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
+ Maintain accurate general ledger records
+ Support preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements and management reports
+ Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
+ Assist in maintaining fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
+ Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
+ Support internal and external audit requests
+ Help develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
+ Provide NetSuite support, including transaction entry, reporting, and data validation
+ Participate in process improvement initiatives
+ Other accounting duties and projects as needed
