Accountant

Glacier Community Health Center - Cut Bank, MT

Full-Time | $55,000-$70,000 (Based on Experience)

Glacier Community Health Center (GCHC) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our leadership team. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and reports directly to the CEO. The accountant plays a key role in managing financial operations, supporting organizational decision-making, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Maintain strong knowledge of organizational policies, federal/state regulations, and current accounting standards. Oversee receipt, recording, and deposit of all funds. Collaborate with staff responsible for financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting. Prepare accurate financial information for outside accountants and auditors. Manage payroll calculations, deductions, and compliance reporting. Review and authorize disbursements in alignment with internal policies. Develop and maintain relationships with banks, insurers, and external accounting professionals. Support procurement oversight and financial coordination across the organization. Participate in management and leadership meetings, as well as Board Finance Committee meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree required

(Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field).

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Accounting experience preferred, not required
