The Accountant is responsible for reconciliations, posting, processing and back up for Accounts Payable.
Essential Functions
Reconciliations/Processes:
(70%) Work along with Senior Accountant to reconcile bank statements, review and is responsible for the reconciliation of the G/L accounts; posts all approved journal entries; processes batches in Aptify. Assist with related special projects, as required.
Customer Service:
(25%) Answer all accounts receivable inquiries in a timely manner and follow up. Call and/or mail correspondence to customers, as necessary, for collections on past-due accounts.
* Other duties as assigned. Back up for Accounts Payable (5%)
