We are a leading home services provider and we are looking for a knowledgeable and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Tax Accountant, who will operate in a fast-paced environment where you will leverage your analytical and technical skills to ensure adherence to Indirect Tax compliance. Specific Duties Include: . Preparing indirect tax returns; including excise taxes, energy taxes and sales taxes . Reviewing and analyzing data . Working extensively in Excel . Ad hoc projects, as necessary Requirements: . Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math or Business strongly preferred . 1 - 3 years of experience in Indirect Tax a plus . Expert level experience with Excel - pivot tables, sumif, vlookup, etc. . Extensive experience working and processing large amounts of data (50K+ lines in a file) . Superior ability to extract and analyze data . Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments . Effective communication and interpersonal skills; will be expected to work closely with other departments to gather necessary information . Ability to maintain confidentiality, assume responsibility, display initiative and exercise good judgment . Close attention to detail .
