We are looking for our next Accountant to join our team at Tualatin Valley Water District!

The Position:
In this position, you\'ll play a direct role in furthering key initiatives and critical infrastructure projects by engaging with many of our approximately 226,950 customers. As an Accountant, you will use your accounting expertise to perform account analysis, review financial statements, documents, and other reports to ensure they are accurate, conduct routine and annual audits, review financial operations, advise on areas that require more efficiencies and cost-savings, and provide risk analysis and forecasting. Priorities and Projects:

  • One of the key roles of this position will be the primary backup for our payroll specialist and payroll function.
  • Ability to document accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Update and revise current accounting manual.

Compensation/Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $75,483.20 - $113,214.40 per year depending on experience.
